Bokar Ngedon Chokhor Ling Monastery is a teaching center of the principles of Buddhism and also a home to 500 Buddhist monks. Shedra is the monastic college of the monastery. The monastery was basically built as a recreational center by Kyabje Bokar Rinpoche in the year 1984. Later, it transformed into a monastery on the request of the natives and disciples. It is located on a hilltop and is a great place to have inner tranquility.

4-Deosi Dara

If you do not visit Deosi Dara, then your trip to Mirik is incomplete. It is almost a replica of Rameetay Dara and provides a breathtaking view of the nearby mountains and amazing plains.
