Tour to Puri

Puri is hailed as the land where the Creator of the Universe resides. Every year, thousands pour in to pay their respects to Lord Vishnu in the Shree Jagannath Puri Temple. Puri is one among the four most religious locations in India, as one of the crucial points of Char Dham, which is supposed to be visited by every Hindu devotee at least once in their lifetime. Erected around the era of 11th Century, the 65-meter tall establishment beckons every tourist to walk in and be in an awe of its immense architectural detail.

Other attractions within this exotic destination are the largest saltwater lake in Asia - Chilika Lake, and the exotic beach sides that are buffered with shorelines of soft sand. You will run into many quaint resorts that offer you a breathtaking view of sunrise and sunsets against crimson colored horizon from the comfort of your room. Puri is also home to the largest food market in the world, Ananda Bazaar.

The Perfect Time to Step In

For religious enthusiasts, the perfect time to visit Puri is during the months of June & July. The famous Chariot Journey of Lord Jagannath, the Rath Yatra, is held during these months and is a spectacle to watch, with thousands pulling the decked up chariot in unison.
